The BioFrontiers Animal Care facility provides in vivo research support for the CU community and the local biotech industry for biomedical research and development. The 6,865 square-foot, semi-barrier facility offers constant monitoring and provides expertise with a wide range of transgenic and nude classifications.
The facility provides services for dosing studies and compound dosing, and has experience with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies.
Facilities include the following:
- Ultrasound imaging and electrocardiogram
- Surgical suite and anesthesia
- Licensed veterinary oversight
- IUCUC oversight by university administration
